2017 Season and Awards

Red Mountain finished the season gong undefeated with an 8-0 record. They accomplished this by allowing the least amount of points in the Pacific South Men's Division II. Unfortunately, the team fell short of the National Championship after losing in the round of 16 in San Diego.

A big congratulations is in order for:

Bruce Duncan our "MVP" and captain of the team. He is a born leader that can be an instant game changer when he is commanding the offense.

Inia Sili for being "Rookie of the Year" as well as "Most Valuable Back". Speedster Inia came in on day one making a large impact and scoring the most tries on the team.

Kevin Lannon is this years "Most Valuable Forward". Kevin is has a great motor and will leave everything he has on the field every game.

Spencer Bell received "Most Improved". He rightful earn this award for his unmatched effort and growth on the field.

Dominic Coralejo is this years "Merrit Nichols 'Team Man'" award. Dom is the personification of team player. He is always there for the team and anybody on the team no matter the circumstance.

Exciting new changes will be made for next year as the team celebrates it's 25 year anniversary. The goal of these changes is to win another national championship next year. These changes include a new practice field, coach, and much more. More details will be announced after the summer and the 7's season.
